Georgia Bulldogs football star and projected first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft Jalon Walker will not work out at the university's Pro Day on Wednesday, March 12.
According to NFL Network's Jordan Reid, Walker has a quad strain that he suffered during pre-draft training.

Walker also did not participate in the Reese's Senior Bowl in early February or at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis this past week.
However, Reid did note that Walker will hold a private workout for NFL coaches and scouts on Thursday, April 17.
Walker missing important pre-draft workouts should not hurt his draft stock, considering he is the best linebacker in this year's draft class due to his overall size, speed, and versatile ability to play off-ball or line up on the edge.
Walker was a standout performer for the Bullodgs in 2024, earning the Butkus Award, which is a prestigious accolade given annually to the nation's best linebacker. He finished his junior and final season with the Bulldogs, racking up 58 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and two fumble recoveries.
Georgia has 17 players who have declared for this year's NFL Draft. So far, Walker is the only one reportedly set to sit out at the Pro Day.
