Kirby Smart and the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs continued their strong 2025 college football season in Week 11, jumping to 8-1 overall and 6-1 in SEC play after a 41-21 win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs. But despite Georgia chasing a fourth national title and third in the last five seasons, Smart is still building for the future.
Georgia football's 2026 recruiting class currently ranks No. 2 in the nation, according to 247 Sports, with 30 commits, including two 5-stars, 20 4-stars and eight 3-stars. Looking ahead to the class of 2027, the Dawgs have four commits (two 4-stars and two 3-stars) and their class ranks No. 10 in college football.
However, things could be looking up for UGA's 2027 class after 4-star wide receiver Sean Green included the Bulldogs in his newly released top three, alongside Georgia Tech and Florida State.
Green's top three was reported by Rivals' Chad Simmons on Tuesday.

According to 247, Green recorded 48 receptions for 584 yards and 5 touchdowns a season ago at Camden County. He also plays basketball and competes on the track and field team.
Up next for Georgia, a showdown with Arch Manning and No. 11 Texas Longhorns on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
