The college football season isn't over yet, but there is already talk about next season and the next head coach at Auburn — and whether that coach will be Lane Kiffin.
The Ole Miss head coach has been at the forefront of rumors regarding the Auburn gig after Bryan Harsin was fired back in October. Reports have emerged that the Tigers have even offered him a substantial contract offer that would make him one of the highest-paid coaches in college football.
So everyone wants to know: Is Kiffin leaving Ole Miss?

Some national football reporters believe so.
“I think he would relish the chance to be Nick Saban’s annual rival and possibility even the one who takes him down."

To no one's surprise, Kiffin himself is very tight-lipped on the matter.
"I never do talk about that stuff," the polarizing coach told the media on Saturday, via 247Sports. "I’m very happy here, but I’m not happy right now."
Of course the "right now" applied to Ole Miss losing 42-27 to Arkansas, dropping the Rebels to 8-3 ahead of Thanksgiving, when they host rival Mississippi State. While Kiffin said he was unhappy with the team on that particular day, he did reiterate how much he likes being at Ole Miss.
"I’m very happy to be here," Kiffin said again. "I’m very appreciative to be here and stuff they do to give us a chance to win."
Auburn went 9-12 under Harsin, while Ole Miss has flourished under Kiffin with a 23-11 record. The Rebels also defeated the Tigers earlier in the season, 48-34.
