On the same day that the California Interscholastic Federation postponed high school football and other sports in the state until at least December or January due to the worsening coronavirus pandemic, the Pac-12 postponed football media days "until further notice" and announced a later date for media availability will be determined.

The conference originally scheduled the event for July 29-31.
The Pac-12, Big Ten and Big East have already moved to conference-only schedules if fall sports seasons can begin as hoped. The Ivy League and Patriot League canceled fall sports, while the Horizon League chose to suspend play through at least the end of September.
The America East Conference is planning to relocate fall sports to spring terms. The Atlantic 10 is revisiting the matter in mid-September.
It's believed any collegiate media days will be virtual experiences, similar to how the NFL conducted this year's draft, due to the uncontrolled virus outbreak.
