 Penn State Football Adds Wide Receiver, Davion Brown to Class of ’26

It was a big Monday for Penn State Football. Today, Wide Receiver Davion Brown announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions.

This marks the third Wide Receiver in the class of 2026 for Penn State Football. Brown joins Lavar Keys and Jahsiear Rodgers. He was one of Penn State’s top targets on the Wide Receiver Board.

Who Did Penn State Beat Out for Davion Brown?

The Nittany Lions were able to beat the in state team, Virginia Tech for Davion Brown. Georgia was also lobbying for his talents, but James Franklin was able to overcome the Hokies and Bulldogs.

Brown visited during the spring game, and has an official visit scheduled for Happy Valley. This is just a massive win for Marques Hagans and the 2026 Wide Receiver room.

Davion Brown is a blue chip prospect.

Currently, Brown ranks as the 6th best player in Virginia according to ON3 Industry Rankings. He is an ON3 Industry four star as well, slotting in as the 220th best player in the country.

Brown is a 6-1 playmaker who will be huge for Penn State Football Recruiting.
