The Oklahoma Sooners need wide receivers, badly. They need everything, really, but when it comes to skill position players, the only thing they need more than wide receivers are tight ends. This offense was terrible last year, and they have to fix it all before next season. They cannot have another season being that bad on the offensive side of the ball. And, it doesn't help that most of the Sooners wide receivers have all left.

So, they have been attacking the portal hard, with a ton of offers and visits already being sent out and scheduled. Their most recent one is with a wide receiver that a lot of schools want, primarily because of his size and possible production numbers for this upcoming season.

Oklahoma Sooners schedule visit with Jerand Bradley

According to Collin Kennedy of 247 Sports, the Sooners are set to meet with Boston College transfer receiver Jerand Bradley.

Bradley moved from Texas Tech to Boston College in December 2023 after making a significant impact with the Red Raiders. Hailing from Frisco, Texas, he was a three-star recruit who shone in his sophomore year at Texas Tech, recording 51 receptions for 744 yards and six touchdowns, earning him a spot on the 2023 preseason first-team All-Big 12.

His performance waned the following year, with 36 catches for 431 yards and four touchdowns. In 2024 at Boston College, his role was limited by the team's run-oriented strategy, resulting in just six receptions for 94 yards and two scores over nine games.

Subsequently, on December 9, 2024, Bradley entered the transfer portal again, seeking a new team where he could leverage his 6'5", 222-pound frame and skills in contested catches and post-catch yardage.

The Sooners have already gone after guys like McCulley and Virgil, so adding Bradley to that list shows they are looking for guys with size. This would be a great addition to the offense that Ben Arbuckle wants to run next season.
