USF is awaiting the results of Wednesday's round of coronavirus testing before resuming activities "out of an abundance of caution."
No. 7 Notre Dame trounced South Florida 52-0 on Saturday, but the Fighting Irish were in headlines on Tuesday after the university confirmed multiple positive virus tests among players. Later that afternoon, the school postponed Saturday's scheduled game versus Wake Forest.
The Atlantic Coast Conference rescheduled that game for Dec. 12.
South Florida opened its season with a 27-6 win over The Citadel on Sept. 12, and the Bulls are set to travel for a Saturday matchup with Florida Atlantic. It's unknown if that game will be played as of early Wednesday afternoon.
