Watch: Kyler Murray was a star in Pop Warner, too

Kyler Murray just won the 2018 Heisman Trophy and is at least dreaming of taking his skills to the NFL in 2019. Not surprisingly, this incredibly gifted young athlete showed promise from a very early age.

Check out this video from 2005, when Murray was just eight years old. Here, he’s playing defense and hitting like a Mack truck charging down the highway at breakneck speed.

That poor running back.

Of course, Murray has upped his game significantly since that point. His high school highlights are ridiculous, too.

Of course, he just put together one of the most legendary seasons in modern college football history, thanks to plays like this.

If Murray is able to convince his agent, Scott Boras, that he’s going to play football at the NFL level, he’ll probably be amazing as a pro, too.

In the meantime, the Heisman winner will attempt to take his team to even greater heights in the College Football Playoff, where Tua Tagovailoa and the mighty Crimson Tide await him and the Sooners in a couple weeks.
