Clemson Tigers quarterback Trevor Lawrence came into the National Championship Game ready for the big moment. It didn’t take long before he burned the LSU Tigers for the first touchdown of the game, then greeted LSU’s fans with quite the gesture.
After leading Clemson’s offense down the field, the Tigers drew up the perfect play from the one-yard line. Lawrence faked the handoff to Travis Etienne, fooling LSU’s entire defense, then rolled out to his right and strolled in for the touchdown.
