The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to Brock Lesnar’s daughter Mya.

Mya is a junior at Colorado State and received attention this week for her excellence in track and field.

Lesnar broke the school record in the shot put at the Mines Alumni Classic in Golden, Colo. on Friday. Her shot put traveled 18.50 meters, which is a school record for indoor shot put.

Lesnar also set a school record in weight throw with a mark of 21.11 meters.

The great week led Lesnar to be named the Women’s Field Athlete of the Week.

Lesnar isn’t just putting up school records. She is first in the country in shot put and third in weight throw.

Lesnar was proud of what she accomplished on Friday.

“A new PR and a new school record!! Happy with a strong start to my season,” she wrote on Instagram.

Lesnar placed well at the NCAA nationals last year. This year, she stands to do even better.
