Sarfaraz Khan and Yashasvi Jaiswal propelled India to a commanding position in their second innings on Day 4 against England. On Sunday (February 18) at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, Jaiswal slammed his second double-century, while Sarfaraz, who made his debut in this match, scored his back-to-back fifties.
But fearing a run-out, Sarfaraz lost his cool. This happened after the third delivery of the 94th over. Sarfaraz was batting at 47* from 56 deliveries, while Jaiswal was at 196* off 225 balls.
Rehan Ahmed bowled to Sarfaraz and the latter ran for a single. Sarfaraz wanted to steal doubles and already reached the middle of the pitch but as Jaiswal refused to take the double, the 26-year-old ran quickly toward the other end and thankfully, he did not get out like he did in the first innings after, a mix-up with Ravindra Jadeja.
Right after reaching the crease, Sarfaraz scolded his Mumbai teammate and could be seen uttering, “Pagal hain? (Are you crazy?)“.

Captain Rohit Sharma, who was watching the entire thing from the dressing room, seemed distressed. Sharma, notably, got angry when Sarfaraz became the victim of a runout in the first innings, and even threw off his cap.
Yashasvi Jaiswal smashes three sixes in a row from James Anderson’s bowling
When Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sarfaraz Khan were batting, the Indian dugout were relaxed, for they crossed 450 and in no time reached 500. Jaiswal walked into bat on Day 4 after the dismissal of Shubman Gill. Notably, Jaiswal opened the innings for India and right after his century, he had to leave the field retire hurt.
So when Jaiswal joined Sarfaraz, the former soon crossed 150. In the 85th over after scoring his 150, Jaiswal sent three balls out of the park off James Anderson‘s bowling. The 22-year-old smashed the three sixes off the veteran English bowler on the first, second, and third delivery of the 85th over.
India declared their innings at 430/4. Jaiswal remained unbeaten on 214 from 236 balls, while Sarfaraz made an unbeaten 68 off 72 balls.
