The match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru kicked off at a pretty quick pace, like SRH openers were straight-up attacking the bowlers from the first over. Travis Head seemed totally in control and was smashing boundaries everywhere across the ground. The left handed batter made 26 runs off 16 balls, and honestly it set the tone for SRH during the powerplay.

But then, Rasikh Salam Dar, sort of shifted the whole mood in the fourth over, with one top notch delivery. He’d already tried a yorker on the last ball, noticing Head was stepping across the stumps trying to boss the bowler a bit. First attempt didn’t work, missed the length, still Rasikh didn’t lose his cool and just went back to the same idea.
Second time around, the yorker landed exactly where it needed to. A sharp ball aimed right at the base of the off stump, Travis Head tried to make room again but couldn’t get his bat down in time. The ball hit with force, crashed into the stumps and they just went flying.
That was a huge wicket for RCB, because Head was looking dangerous. Rasikh then celebrated with a gesture toward the crowd, basically asking for more noise after that brilliant strike. For a moment the Hyderabad crowd went quiet, then the RCB players celebrated loudly, almost like it drowned everything out.

Even though it was Rasikh Salam Dar who got the wicket, it was Virat Kohli who ended up drawing the most attention with his aggressive, high-energy reaction from the field. The former RCB captain celebrated with raw intensity right after Head was dismissed.
The moment the stumps shattered, Kohli threw his fists up and let out a big shout, excitement written all over him. Cameras went straight to him, and fans in the stadium, plus people on social media, reacted to that fiery moment. Kohli looked fully locked into the contest, and his reaction made it clear how valuable Travis Head’s wicket was for Bengaluru.
Head has been a headache for plenty of teams with that attacking style in recent seasons, so removing him early was a massive lift for RCB. Kohli’s reaction also pumped up the energy around the RCB camp at a critical stage, before the playoffs.
By the end of six overs, SRH sat at 63/1 after choosing to bat first. Abhishek Sharma was still unbeaten on 26 off 14 balls, with three fours and one six, while Ishan Kishan was on 8 from 6. Travis Head, who scored 26, was then bowled by Rasikh Salam Dar.
On the RCB bowling side, Bhuvneshwar Kumar conceded 25 in two overs, Josh Hazlewood gave up 15 in two overs, and Rasikh Salam Dar, despite letting 23 runs come in his two overs, still grabbed that key wicket.
