Are these two 'Euphoria' co-stars dating in real life?

Fike joined the Euphoria cast for the second season, which premiered Jan. 9. The musician plays Elliot, a fellow teen at Jules (Schafer) and Rue's (Zendaya) high school, who met Rue during the New Year's Eve party in the second season premiere. Elliot does copious amounts of drugs with the recently relapsed Rue.

During Sunday night's episode, Elliot and Rue continue to hang out and do drugs together—despite the fact that Jules and Rue are now reunited and totally in love again, and Jules has no idea that Rue is getting high all the time.

"There were a lot of conversations over the years about where the show was going to go and what it was going to evolve into, and I remember when [showrunner] Sam [Levinson] first kind of talked about the idea of this Elliot character, I wasn’t feeling it—as someone who ships ‘Rules’ to the bitter end," Zendaya told Variety earlier this month. "And I was like, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa, what are we doing here?'"

"But, in retrospect, and also as someone who understands where the show needs to go and what needs to happen for these characters, it’s crucial that Elliot exist and that he be the person that is honestly the catalyst for a lot of things that just have to happen," the Emmy winner continued.
