Aubrey Plaza shocks fans with news she's married to long-time partner Jeff Baena
Aubrey Plaza's latest Instagram post is meant to celebrate her next film, but the Parks and Recreation star set the internet ablaze by casually slipping it into her caption that she's married.
"So proud of my darling husband @jeffbaena for dreaming up another film that takes us to italia to cause some more trouble," Plaza wrote, in part, congratulating the 43-year-old screenwriter and direcor. The full post can be seen below:
"Her rep later confirmed with PEOPLE that the pair have wed," People's Ale Russian added. "The two have been linked since 2011 and she's starred in his movies Life After Beth (2014) and The Little Hours (2017)."
The 36-year-old actress's post included a screenshot from this Thursday Deadline report by Mike Fleming Jr. about Baena's next project titled Spin Me Round, which he will direct and wrote with Alison Brie (Glow). Brie is also set to star alongside Plaza, Alessandro Nivola, Molly Shannon, Lil Rel Howery, Debby Ryan, Fred Armisen, and more.

Duplass Brothers Productions will produce Spin Me Round. Baena and the Duplass Brothers previously joined forces for Showtime's Cinema Toast, which marked Plaza's directorial debut and was created by Baena. The series debuted April 20.
