Barbara Bush welcomes first child with husband Craig Coyne

Former U.S. President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush announced Tuesday that daughter Barbara Bush and her husband, Craig Coyne, welcomed their first child—a daughter named Cora Georgia Coyne.

"With full hearts, Laura and I are delighted to announce the birth of our new granddaughter," George and Laura Bush revealed in a statement, per People, that also noted that Cora was born "not far from our family home where Barbara and Craig were married."

"Cora is healthy and adorable, and we are proud and grateful," they added.

Barbara Bush and Coyle were married in October 2018 at the Bush's Walker Point property in Kennebunkport, Maine.

Barbara is the fraternal twin sister of Jenna Bush Hager, who has three children with husband Henry Hager, daughters Margaret "Mila" Laura, 8, and Poppy Louise, 6, as well as son Henry "Hal" Harold, 2.

Barbara and Craig lived with George and Laura on their Crawford, Texas, ranch as well as the Maine compound during the worst of the pandemic's lockdown last year, which she discussed with People last September.
