Bob Saget's wife Kelly Rizzo speaks out after his sudden death: 'I am so completely shattered'

Kelly Rizzo, Bob Saget's wife of three years, has broken her silence after his unexpected death at 65 years old on Sunday.

"My whole heart. Bob was my absolute everything," Rizzo wrote in a statement (h/t People). "I am so completely shattered and in disbelief. I am so deeply touched by the outpouring of love and tribute from our friends, family, his fans and his peers. When the time is right and when this news is not as raw, I look forward to sharing more of Bob with the world. Sharing how much he meant to me, all of those around him, and how much all of his fans and friends meant to him as well. Thank you for respecting my privacy at this time."

Saget and Rizzo first met when he slid into her DMs in 2015, and they later wed in October 2018. The "America's Funniest Home Videos" and "Full House" star was previously married to Sherri Kramer from 1982 to '97, and they shared daughters Aubrey, 34, Lara, 32 and Jennifer, 29.

Before Rizzo's, the family had released a statement: 

"We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today. He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter. Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world."

Saget was found unresponsive in his room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Fla., and pronounced dead at the scene. He had missed his scheduled checkout time. An autopsy confirmed "no evidence of drug use or foul play." The beloved TV dad was only two performances into his stand-up comedy tour "I Don't Do Negative."
