Jonah Hill is set to direct his second feature, Outcome, a crime horror about Hollywood starlet Reef, who must confront his problems and atone for his past after being threatened by bizarre video footage.

Hill will star in the film alongside Keanu Reeves for Apple Original Films, with Cameron Diaz in final negotiations to also join the cast as per Deadline.

Produced by Matt Dines, Ali Goodwin and Jonah Hill for Strong Baby, the film was co-written by Hill and Ezra Woods.

Outcome will be Hill's second fiction film following his directorial debut, Mid90s, which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2018.

Since then, Hill has directed a couple of TV episodes and a documentary titled Stutz, which follows Hill and his therapist, who have candid discussions of mental health and the progressively worsening anxiety attacks related to movie promotion that have turned his dream job into a nightmare.

Cameron Diaz has had a long break from acting, with her last credit being the 2014 musical film Annie.

She will make her return to the big screen this year in Seth Gordon's Back in Action, which follows former CIA spies Emily and Matt, who are pulled back into espionage after their secret identities are exposed.

She will star opposite Andrew Scott, Jamie Foxx, Kyle Chandler, Glenn Close, Fola Evans-Akingbola and Jamie Demetriou.
