Cher says she will 'have to go on' RuPaul's Drag Race due to popular demand

For years, fans of Cher have wanted her to be a guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race and the iconic singer said that she was aware of the outcry from fans and that she is willing to appear on the show.

"I'm going to have to go on it at some point," Cher told Entertainment Weekly.

The Venn diagram of Cher fans and Drag Race fans may as well be a circle, as both Cher and RuPaul are considered icons in the LGBT community. That is a big part of why there has been such a passionate desire from fans for her to be on the show. Cher said she had seen Drag Race and confirmed that she would consider making an appearance.

Cher expressed her admiration for RuPaul, noting that she has been friends with him since her appearance on The RuPaul Show in 1997. She said that the entertainment empire he has been able to build is "amazing" and expressed her love for him as a person.

"I've known him for a long time. He's such a cool guy," Cher said. "I would consider it! I have watched it…. He's smart and I love him. He's the coolest guy ever. What he's been able to do is amazing."
