Daniel Radcliffe dishes on his risque 'Miracle Workers' dance number

Daniel Radcliffe debuted as the titular wizard when Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone hit theaters in November 2001, and there is perhaps no greater signifier that Radcliffe is 20 years removed from being the Boy Who Lived than this dance scene in the current third season of Miracle Workers:

"I'm not somebody that, like, grew up dancing, but if you give me choreography and time, I can learn it," Radcliffe, now clearly the Man Who Dances and Sings, said on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. "And we had an amazing choreographer, Chris Gattelli, and vogueing had specifically been asked for by the writers, and so they brought in a vogueing specialist."

"He taught me the baby version of it because I can't do one percent of one percent of what he does," the 32-year-old British actor continued. "But yeah, it was an insane, incredibly fun day."

When Colbert asked if Radcliffe planned to employ his new dance routine at a wedding, he shut down the notion: "It was one of those moments that will live in my memory of set and on-screen, but I don't think I can pull those moves off not wearing that outfit."

Radcliffe, of course, rose to global prominence by shouldering the eight-film Harry Potter franchise alongside Rupert Grint and Emma Watson from 2001-11. (Don't bank on a 20th anniversary reunion, though.)

Radcliffe has starred in Miracle Workers, created by Simon Rich with Saturday Night Live boss Lorne Michaels as executive producer, since it premiered in 2019. The TBS comedic anthology series has explored an entirely different world in each of its three seasons.

Season 1 focused on low-ranking angel Craig (Radcliffe) tasked with granting an impossible prayer to spare humankind. Season 2 pivoted to the Dark Ages, and Season 3 is immersed in the Oregon Trail in 1844.
