Disney pushes back Marvel release dates, including 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' and 'Thor: Love and Thunder'
The good news is 2022 is packed with Marvel heavyweights.
The bad news is fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will have to wait a little longer.
Disney revealed a new set of release dates Monday:
According to The Hollywood Reporter's Pamela McClintock, Paramount Plus is taking advantage of the pushed slate:
The highly anticipated Black Panther sequel was originally given a July 8, 2022, premiere date but will now be unveiled Nov. 11, 2022. Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth installment in the Thor film franchise, will have a similar delay from May 6, 2022, to July 8, 2022.
One more piece of good news? Marvel Studios' Eternals is still debuting Nov. 5, directed by Oscar winner Chloe Zhao and starring the likes of Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden and Kumail Nanjiani.
