Ed Sheeran is 'still on' to perform on 'Saturday Night Live' after bout with COVID
Ed Sheeran is a free man.
The 30-year-old singer-songwriter posted to Instagram early Tuesday to share he is "released from COVID isolation" and "still on" to act as Saturday Night Live's musical guest this weekend:
The Nov. 6 episode will be hosted by Succession actor Kieran Culkin, as announced Oct. 23.
Sheeran revealed his positive COVID-19 test on Oct. 24 and quarantined through the release of his fourth solo studio album = (Equals) last Friday (Oct. 29).
The 14-track project includes singles "Bad Habits," "Visiting Hours" and "Shivers," with "Bad Habits" peaking at No. 2 and "Shivers" at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
