The latest image for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga shows Chris Hemsworth looking absurd. And this is for a guy who played the Norse God of Thunder.

Sitting atop an oversized chopper plated in what appears to be chrome, Hemsworth is giving serious villain vibes in the upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road prequel.

He plays Dementus, the leader of a biker horde making life for Anya Taylor-Joy’s Furiosa a living Hell as she makes her way across a wasteland roughly 15 years before the events of 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road.

Director George Miller’s post-apocalyptic universe features some truly outrageous character designs, from grey-skinned War Boys who spray their mouths silver, to flamethrower-guitar warriors.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga keeps up the trend, with Hemsworth donning a cape made out of a parachute and draping a teddy bear around his neck.

“You can run, but you can’t hide,” tweets Hemsworth.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is slated to premiere in theaters on May 24. For more on Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, here's everything we know.
