HBO Max announces when the 'Friends' reunion will finally be available for streaming

HBO Max announced Thursday that in exactly two weeks—May 27—fans will finally be able to indulge in the long-awaited Friends: The Reunion subtitled "The One Where They Get Back Together":

The universally beloved cast—Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer— filmed the unscripted special in Los Angeles in early April. 

Cox has been gushing over how "emotional" and "unbelievable" the experience was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week and again on The Drew Barrymore Show earlier this week:

On top of the core cast gathering together on Stage 24 for the first time in 17 years, there is a star-studded list of guest appearances to get excited about:

Friends: The Reunion has been in the works since February 2020, experiencing several delays during the COVID-19 pandemic last year.

The sitcom originally aired for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004.
