Kate Bosworth has 'never been so enamored' with husband Michael Polish despite announcing split
You can only hope to find someone who can make you as happy in love as Michael Polish makes Kate Bosworth in divorce.
The 38-year-old actress announced that she and Polish, 50, are separating, and to call it an amicable breakup would be tragically underselling it:
The soon-to-be-exes met while filming Big Sur in 2011. Bosworth starred, and Polish directed. He also penned the screenplay, adapting Jack Kerouac's 1962 novel by the same name.
The drama premiered in November 2013, months after Bosworth and Polish's Montana wedding.
Polish shares a 23-year-old daughter, Jasper, with makeup artist Jo Strettell, and Bosworth has been open about their blended family dynamic.
"When I came into the picture, it was very important for me to have a relationship with Jo," Bosworth said in May 2020 (h/t Vogue). "From the get go, we knew that in order to raise a healthy young woman in the world, it was important for all of us to lead with love and really raise her with unity in the family."
The Blue Crush and Superman Returns star previously dated Orlando Bloom, who is now engaged to Katy Perry and father to their nearly one-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom.
