Kevin Hart & Snoop Dogg will co-host an Olympics recap show

The U.S. Olympic Trials are still going, but Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg have already punched their ticket to Tokyo.

Per Deadline, Peacock will feature Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg: "The commentary series will see the pair recap the Olympics' most impressive displays of athleticism, as well as the moments that don't go as planned. Kevin and Snoop will be your comedy guides through the Tokyo Olympics."

The program will be produced by Hart's Laugh Out Loud Network, as it was revealed way back in January 2020 that LOL was partnering with NBCUniversal's streamer on "a multi-year deal."

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics were originally slated to begin July 24, 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic forced Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach to jointly announce an official postponement on March 24, 2020.

"The Olympics had never been rescheduled for something other than war," ESPN's Kelly Cohen relayed at the time. "In 1916, 1940 and 1944, the Games were canceled because of the world wars."

Now, the Summer Games will kick off July 21 and run through Aug. 8. The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for July 23.
