Filming is underway in California on the secret movie from After Yang and Columbus director Kogonada.

Colin Farrell and Margot Robbie were spotted on the set of A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, sporting simple costumes that give little away about what to expect.

Farrell was wearing a plain grey T-shirt with navy trousers, carrying a blue jacket, while Margot Robbie debuted a new hairstyle with cut-off jeans, boots and a navy shirt.

Plot details for the film may not yet be available, but when Deadline broke the news, they revealed that it will tell "an imaginative tale of two strangers and the emotional journey that connects them".

Deadline also shared that Chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures' Motion Picture Group, Tom Rothman, praised the script, calling it "a project from heaven", saying, "We believe the audience is desperate for originality".

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey was penned by five-time Emmy-nominee Seth Reiss, whose most recent feature script was for The Menu.

An expected release date for A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is currently unknown.
