Michael B. Jordan reveals intense 'Without Remorse' trailer

Some things truly are worth the wait.

Count the first official trailer for Tom Clancy's Without Remorse among them.

"I waited almost a year to share this with y'all!" tweeted Michael B. Jordan, who stars as Navy SEAL John Kelly. "Official trailer for Tom Clancy's #WithoutRemorse - Hittin @AmazonPrimeVideo April 30."

In the clip, Jordan's Kelly is reeling after his pregnant wife, Pam (Lauren London), is murdered in a home invasion by masked Russian assassins seeking retribution for Kelly rescuing a CIA operative from them in Syria three months earlier. "I'm gonna make it right," he promises. "There's something inside of me that I can't turn off. The part of me that won't stop for anything. No remorse."

The thriller serves as Kelly's origin story en route to becoming action hero John Clark. This is an extension of the Jack Ryan universe and an adaptation of Clancy's novel Rainbow Six.

Jordan will continue to embody military personnel as 1st Sgt. Charles Monroe King in forthcoming film Journal for Jordan, based on a true story and directed by Denzel Washington.
