Niall Horan has one condition before he will collaborate with Shawn Mendes

Niall Horan and Anne-Marie recently released a single together titled "Our Song," and while promoting it with SiriusXM, Horan was asked about a possible collaboration with Shawn Mendes.

"We've never actually sat down and written a song, ever, even though we've spent that much time together," Horan told SiriusXM's Mikey Piff. "So, we just—at one point we'll do it, but have to fix the golf swing first."

The exchange was prompted by Piff referencing a video Mendes posted to his Instagram Story late last week showcasing his subpar golf swing and tagging Horan with the message "how about that ! poor form":

The 27-year-old Irishman added: "I didn't realize he was playing. He just sent that video to me on Instagram. I was like, 'It's pretty decent!' Did a good job. He's actually not as bad as it looks."

Horan is an avid golfer and golf fan when he's not actively dominating the global pop music landscape. The "Slow Hands" crooner founded Modest! Golf Management in 2016.
