Ray Liotta: 'You'd have to ask' Martin Scorsese why they haven't worked together again after 'Goodfellas'
Ray Liotta starred as Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas.
He can't explain why he hasn't acted in a Scorsese film since the 1990 mobster classic.
"You'd have to ask him," Liotta told The Guardian when asked. "But I'd love to."
The 66-year-old actor also commented on the fact he and Henry are inextricably linked until the end of time, regardless of how many other characters he portrays: "If you got one movie that people remember, that’s great. If you got two, that’s fantastic."
Goodfellas featured Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci alongside Liotta, and Pesci won an Oscar for best supporting actor. The film was nominated for six Oscars overall, including best picture and best director.

Liotta returned to the mobster world on-screen in The Many Saints of Newark, Alan Taylor's forthcoming prequel feature-length film to The Sopranos. In the movie, starring Michael Gandolfini as a younger version of Tony Soprano—the role made famous by his late father, James Gandolfini—Liotta plays Aldo "Hollywood Dick" Moltisanti:
