Salma Hayek's dog once cost her a housekeeper for this peculiar reason

Salma Hayek's pets are getting more press than her upcoming movie The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard.

The Oscar-nominated actress spent approximately 90 percent of her appearance on Tuesday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show talking about her pet rescue owl Kering, and she discussed her adopted dog Angie on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan:

"I had a housekeeper for a long time, and she left me because she said, 'You named a dog after me?'" Hayek explained. "Her name is Angela, and I just called her Angie."

Hayek has been publicly known as an avid animal lover for years, admitting in 2016 that she had 30 animals at one point:

There is still no word on whether Hayek adopted yet another animal while filming The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, the sequel to The Hitman's Bodyguard (2016) due in theaters tomorrow (June 16). Regardless, watch the trailer below.
