Seth Rogen recalls getting so high from edibles at the Golden Globes that he worried Bryan Cranston

Seth Rogen is a full-blown method actor when it comes to running his cannabis company Houseplant.

The 38-year-old stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss his new venture—and yes, he admitted he was high just as he is "all the time"—and their 15-minute conversation concluded with a hilarious revelation about Oscar-nominated actor Bryan Cranston.

"In order to find the strains, [Evan Goldberg and I] needed to smoke tons of different strains of weed," Rogen said. "We would go on little friend dates and try out the effects of the strain. ... We had a super rigorous process of getting super duper high."

Rogen has also experimented with edibles. Enter: Cranston.

"I was at the Golden Globes, which are a nightmare, so I had a weed lollipop throughout the show," he said. "In my head, I was like, 'I'm really high, but I'm keeping it together.' That's what I kept thinking in my head. ... And then, the show ended, and I went to an after-party, and I saw Bryan Cranston, who I don't know that well. The first thing he said to me was, 'Are you OK?'"

Rogen added, alluding to Cranston's Breaking Bad character: "If I was alarming to Walter White, I must've been f—d."

Rogen co-founded Houseplant with Goldberg, his childhood friend and writing partner on cult classics such as Superbad and Pineapple Express. The Canadian company will launch in the United States on Thursday, with ceramics available nationwide and weed products available in California.

The Primetime Emmy nominee even offered to provide weed to new Southern California residents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: "Hit me up, now that they're here. They could use it, it seems. They got a lot of stress, where they're coming from."

Rogen hopes to one day add edibles to the menu, but as he illustrated, there is still some fine-tuning to be done.
