'South Park' airs hilarious COVID-19 vaccination-themed episode

Nothing has been off limits for South Park since the award-winning animated series debuted in 1997, so why would the COVID-19 pandemic be treated any differently?

So far, Season 24 has aired just two episodes: "The Pandemic Special" in late September, and the brand new hour-long "South ParQ Vaccination Special." The latter aired Wednesday on Comedy Central:

In it, citizens are all desperate to get the coveted COVID-19 vaccine. A group modeled after QAnon will do whatever it can to prevent the South Park Elementary boys from getting their teacher Ms. Nelson, whom Cartman ruthlessly pranked at the beginning of the episode, the all-important shot. The last thing the boys want is to have to go back to virtual learning, especially after Mr. Garrison returns to replace an angry Ms. Nelson.

The full episode can be watched in full here, as well as "The Pandemic Special," and if you really like it, there's merchandise
