Steve Martin congratulates his doppelgänger for winning 'Jeopardy!' Professors Tournament

Sam Buttrey was already winning at life before becoming the first-ever champion of "Jeopardy!" Professors Tournament last week because of his striking resemblance to Steve Martin.

And "Jeopardy!" took the opportunity to extend an invitation to the comedy legend.

Maybe Martin will join the iconic trivia show when Buttrey competes in the next Tournament of Champions.

Hosted by Mayim Bialik, the inaugural Professors Tournament saw Ed Hashima and Alisa Hove finish second and third, respectively, behind Buttrey. Learn more here.
