Robert Pattinson has reportedly been spotted on the set of The Penguin.

The rumor comes in a report by ComicBookMovie, who writes, “Some new photos from in and around The Penguin set have been shared online, and while none of them actually feature Pattinson in-costume/character, the actor was reportedly spotted filming scenes for the show.”

The rumor comes as The Penguin wraps filming, as confirmed by actress Carmen Ejogo on Instagram.

“#itsawrap. We made something epic. Can't wait to share with you x,”

A spinoff of The Batman, The Penguin stars Colin Farrell as notorious mob boss The Penguin, chronicling his rise to power in Gotham.

If Pattinson does feature in this prequel tale in some capacity, it’ll likely be as a younger Bruce Wayne/Batman, giving us a fresh portrayal of the character.

As well as a possible Pattinson and a definite Farell, HBO’s upcoming eight-episode series also features Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, François Chau, Theo Rossi, and David H. Holmes.

The Penguin releases later this year on Max.

Elsewhere on the service, a new superhero satire series from Sam Mendes was ordered by HBO.
