Tom Jones describes Elvis Presley once serenading him in a Las Vegas shower

Sir Tom Jones is known for his Grammy-nominated 1965 single "It's Not Unusual," but the story he shared about Elvis Presley while virtually visiting The Kelly Clarkson Show is patently unusual.

"We were in Las Vegas, and I was at Caesars Palace, and Elvis was at the Hilton," Jones began. "So, one night, I come off stage, and I'm trying to get to get into the shower. And Elvis is in the wings, and he said, 'I've got this song, Tom.' Somebody had been pitching him a song, and he thought it would be would better for me than for him to do it."

The 80-year-old Welsh icon continued: "So, anyway, I'm in the shower, and I'm washing my hair, and it's a big shower. And I can hear Elvis Presley's voice. ... I open my eyes, and the door was right there on the lefthand side, and there's Elvis leaning over the door singing this song to me. And I said, 'Well, Elvis, look, it sounds great, but can I just get out of the shower?'"

To make matters even more awkward, according to Jones, it appeared that Presley "had already used the toilet" because "his pants were still around his ankles." So, a naked Jones toweling off from his shower plus a cluelessly and shamelessly pantless King of Rock and Roll? Um, what?
