Vin Diesel leaves door open for Paul Walker's daughter to join 'Fast' franchise

F9: The Fast Saga is fast approaching its June 25 release date, but Vin Diesel is already talking about the 10th installment—sort of.

While visiting E! News's Daily Pop, the 53-year-old actor was asked whether the late Paul Walker's 22-year-old daughter, Meadow, also Diesel's goddaughter, will appear in Fast and Furious before its conclusion after the 11th film.

"I would not count anything out," Diesel replied. "Let me just—without giving you all of the secrets of Fast 10. Let's just say nothing's ruled out."

This comes after other Fast cast staples discussed Walker and how Meadow as well as his brothers' presence on set on SiriusXM earlier this week:

Meadow, a model, has also been sharing photos related to the franchise:

Walker died Nov. 30, 2013, when a Porsche he was riding in crashed and burst into flames. He was 40 years old. At the time, Furious 7 was in the middle of filming. He had played Brian O'Conner in six of the seven Fast  films to that point, and his character was written out as having chosen to live a quieter life with his wife, Mia (Jordana Brewster), and their children.

Walker made a brief cameo in the second trailer for F9, as Brian is still technically alive in that universe:

"When the tragedy happened back in 2013, we stopped filming Furious 7 for about five months because we were wrapping our heads around what we were going to do, while mourning," Diesel, who has played the franchise's central star Dom Toretto since the beginning, told E! "And the studio accepted a bold decision, which was to allow the character to exist in our mythology."
