Carlos Sainz has become the talk of the town in the F1 paddock since securing a sensational win at the Australian Grand Prix. He was on it from the get-go and after his triumph, Charles Leclerc has also acknowledged his might.

Carlos Sainz was hands-down the better driver at the Albert Park F1 circuit. He was the faster of the two Ferrari drivers from day one and Charles Leclerc, despite his best efforts, was just not able to catch up to the former’s performance.

Leclerc finished in second place at the end of the Australian GP.

But it’s been that in the last three years, where we basically will arrive at one race and Carlos will be better and then I'll push and then I'll be better at the next race and then we'll improve like that. And that's very exciting as a driver to have such a fast team-mate. Charles Leclerc said in an interview with Motorsport

Sainz has been making his trade with Ferrari since 2021. He and Leclerc have been pretty much neck and neck from the very beginning and this is what the Monegasque feels, makes him and the Spaniard an extremely strong driver line-up.

Charles Leclerc feels Carlos Sainz needs to make the ‘best choice’ for his F1 career

While Leclerc has left no stone unturned in acknowledging the might of Sainz as an F1 driver, he also feels that the Spaniard needs to make the best choice going forward. As things stand, the latter has quite a few options for next year.

Lewis Hamilton has taken his seat at Ferrari for the 2025 season of the sport.

I think everybody knows Carlos' worth. And I'm sure he will have many opportunities and he'll just have to make the best choice for his career. Charles Leclerc said in the same interview

Carlos Sainz is one of the most well-established names at the pinnacle of motor racing. He has proven his worth to everyone on multiple occasions and the way he has started his 2024 campaign, he’s only adding more to his value as an F1 driver. The upcoming months will be fascinating as it could decide where Sainz will driver next year.
