However, the 34-year-old has faced performance slumps in the past. Nevertheless, Perez was confident about securing a new contract with Red Bull for next season. Now, Christian Horner has refuted Checo’s comments.
Horner claimed that Milton Keynes was happy with its current set of drivers for the time being. Subsequently, Red Bull was not in a hurry to make a decision on its future pairing till the latter half of the 2024 season. Previously, Perez hinted that Red Bull was close to giving him an extension for the upcoming season.
