Knowing his character I would not have been surprised to see him jump into a role as a team principal at Mercedes for example and find a way of moving into the management side. Would he have been good at it? Not all racing drivers have been. Alain Prost was the prime example who never quite worked out when he had his team. Niki Lauda did it but only on the management side with Mercedes. Would he and Michael have worked well together? Michael Schumacher suffered an accident while skiing with his family in December of 2013, that sent the German F1 legend into critical condition. Schumacher has spent the rest of his years recovering, gradually improving his condition while being taken care of by his family.

Nearly all of the 55-year-old’s updates about his condition have been kept private, apart from some vague mentions from his family. But Johnny Herbert, F1 race winner and Schumacher’s teammate t Benetton has claimed that there are rumors from those close to him that he can sit down for dinner, an optimistic turn for his recovery.
