During the early Saturday running at Miami GP, the reigning world champion, Max Verstappen had won the sprint race and now he has claimed the pole position in qualifying as well. The unstoppable Dutchman believes that Red Bull has improved the RB20 progressively in Miami and that according to him, played a vital role in the recent pole.

Ahead of the ongoing weekend, Max Verstappen has won four out of the five races that have taken place so far this season, the Australian GP was the one exception where his car had an issue and he had no choice but to retire. He feels that since landing in Miami, he’s found it difficult to get consistent performance out of the RB20.

While shedding light on the same, he said the following.

I think we definitely improved the car a bit, but every year I come here I find it difficult to be consistent. Today was about finding that balance and I think we did okay. Max Verstappen said during post quali interview

With three world championships under his belt, the 26-year-old is now aiming for a fourth. Sitting at the top of the chart, Verstappen is still performing at an extremely high level. It isn’t a surprise anymore as to why most of the fans have now got a bit tired of hearing the Dutch anthem again and again!

Christian Horner dismisses speculations about key-man exit clause in Max Verstappen’s contract

As the official news of Adrian Newey’s departure from Red Bull came to light, many believed that Max Verstappen would follow suit, with the help of a key-man exit clause. However, the team principal of Red Bull, Christian Horner has dismissed all such speculations as he claimed that the former is happy with the team.

The 50-year-old while talking about his driver, had the following to add.

Max’s contract is obviously always going to remain confidential but there’s no clauses with Adrian that link Adrian in any way to Max. They’ve enjoyed a good relationship over the years, as have our obviously previous drivers. Christian Horner via: Sky Sports

Verstappen himself has dismissed the Red Bull exit speculations in the past, claiming that he is very happy with the team. Logically, despite the ongoing unrest, Red Bull remains the most dominant team on the grid. They are able to provide Verstappen with potent challengers and hence, there are not several reasons for him to part ways with the Austrain outfit. It is worth noting that the 26-year-old is contracted to Red Bull until the end of the 2028 season.
