All eyes will be set on Max Verstappen ‘s dominant performance and his special edition helmet in the upcoming Miami GP. He will change his usual helmet to a newly designed custom helmet for the American weekend. Hence, Verstappen’s special helmet will add more glamor to the occasion.

Max Verstappen‘s special edition helmet is full of Red Bull’s dark blue color, resembling his team through his helmet for the Miami GP. Additionally, the helmet contains many other resemblances of the reigning world champion. The special edition helmet has three stars from the previous years, depicting his three world championships. The helmet also contains the American flag to showcase the country where the race will be run.

Verstappen will dawn the same custom-styled helmet for all three American races scheduled for the 2024 season. The Dutchman has prepared 1:2 and 1:4 replicas of the special helmet for the fans to get their hands on even before the race.

Hence, the Miami GP will likely spot multiple other mini replicas of the custom helmet. The promotional video for the helmet was posted to Verstappen’s X page ahead of the upcoming American weekend.

Max Verstappen claims American fans are ‘very passionate’ about motorsports

Speaking about the promotion of the special edition helmet, Max Verstappen shared his thoughts regarding the passion for motorsports amongst American fans. Formula 1 has the highest number of races in America, totaling three after the addition of the Las Vegas GP. American involvement has also been proven to be highly beneficial for the pinnacle of motorsport.

Verstappen claimed that the fans in the US were ‘very passionate’ about motorsports in general apart from Formula 1. Apart from this, the Dutchman reflected on the many memories that the drivers created on the American continent. Hence all the details on the helmet were all resembling the continent and their love for the motorsport.

In the US the thing is you know, the fans are very passionate. They love motorsports in general and not only Formula 1. We created a lot of nice memories all the grand prixs, from Miami to Austin and Vegas. Definitely looking forward to drive this helmet around all the US tracks. Max Verstappen told on his X page.

The 26-year-old’s dominant performance will likely continue even during the American weekend. The Dutchman will extend his lead in the Drivers’ championship, courtesy of the great RB20 challenger. Red Bull has also minimized mistakes and provided the best opportunity to score dominant wins for the reigning world champion.
