This one scribe has always wondered what it might be like to have a significant other who just so happens to race cars for a living.

Does said individual speed at every opportunity? Would he/she be willing to speed while you’re in the car.

Well, the wife of former Italian Formula One driver Riccardo Patrese found this out the hard way.

Just look at her face as he speeds up and down the road in a custom-built Honda.

Dude, that’s just freaking mean. Way to freak your wife out and make her scream.

On a semi-related note, the car sure sounds like this one scribe’s old Acura with a VTEC Honda engine. Yeah, I upset some others in my heyday, too.

With six wins during a 17-year career, Petrese obviously had success in the circuit. We’re just not too sure said success will continue to his romantic life following this stunt.
