Lewis Hamilton is gearing up for his next big Hollywood move. After helping bring F1: The Movie with Brad Pitt to life, the seven-time world champion has confirmed he’s already working on new creative projects.

The Ferrari driver, who co-produced the film through his company Dawn Apollo Films, says the experience sparked a new passion for storytelling outside the world of racing.

Hamilton now plans to build on that success, but with a more focused, quality-driven approach that mirrors the style of renowned filmmaker Quentin Tarantino.

Lewis Hamilton Plots His Next Move in Hollywood

Following the Brad Pitt-led F1: The Movie, Hamilton revealed that several new projects are in the early stages. His production company, Dawn Apollo Films, has received a flood of ideas since the film wrapped.

"We have some ideas. I’m in the process of figuring it out, but storytelling is something I’m really passionate about," Hamilton told Ferrari Magazine.

"More than ever, we need inspirational stories out there, given the dark times we live in. I love comedy, and I’ve got a particular idea for a television show. I’m working on a couple of animation movie ideas," he added.

Despite the growing opportunities, the 40-year-old insists he’s prioritizing creativity over volume. "It’s not about doing lots and lots of projects, it’s more like Quentin Tarantino does it, quality rather than quantity."

Inside His Role in Brad Pitt’s F1 Film

Before looking ahead, Hamilton reflected on his deep involvement in F1: The Movie, directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Brad Pitt. The film gave him a chance to blend his racing expertise with his growing interest in filmmaking.

"I’m so happy with it… To have real involvement in the film and to be able to engage so fully in the process was crazy," Hamilton said.

"Joe [Kosinski] came to me and said, ‘I’m thinking about doing this movie, I would love to get Brad Pitt.’ We didn’t have him at that point. And I helped bridge some gaps and be part of it to the point where the end credits roll," he added.

The British driver even worked closely with legendary composer Hans Zimmer and gave notes on early edits. "I spent time in the edit and watched sections of the film on my laptop and sent notes. I met with Hans Zimmer in his amazing studio in Santa Monica. What a four years it’s been, and what a privilege," he concluded.

A New Era Beyond Racing

With $629M in worldwide box office collection through F1: The Movie, Lewis Hamilton’s creative journey is just beginning. His focus now extends beyond racing, driven by a desire to tell uplifting and meaningful stories.

Whether through animation, comedy, or drama, Hamilton’s Hollywood chapter promises to be just as bold and ambitious as his time in Formula 1.
