The Pitt Panthers have secured another official visitor for June as 2025 safety Ian Williams announced on X that he will take a trip to Pittsburgh from June 20-22.

Just two weeks ago, Williams was in town visiting the South Side facility and as he was getting ready to leave, secondary coach Archie Collins extended an offer.

For the 6-foot, 185-pound athlete, the offer came as no surprise after a growing relationship with Collins and defensive backs coach Cory Sanders.

After making the trip on April 3, Williams said it was an easy decision to return to Pitt.

“I just knew I had to go back,” Williams told Pittsburgh Sports Now. “The chats I had with the coaches, the way they showed us around and the way this relationship with me and Collins, they a legit option for me.”

Last fall at Osborne High School, Williams compiled 73 total and 59 solo tackles, along with four interceptions, two fumble recoveries and 14 pass breakups.

Williams, who will transfer to Osborne High School in the fall, will also take official visits to Rutgers. He additionally holds offers from Georgia Tech, USF, Memphis, App State and others.

Along with Williams, Pitt will also host Thomas Jefferson offensive lineman Shep Turk, running back Eddie Love Jr. and athlete Emmanuel Taylor from June 20-22.
