The agent of Carlos Alcaraz is unsure if Juventus will sign the Argentine permanently.

Alcaraz joined Juve on-loan from Southampton in January.

Agent Sebastian Lopez told AS: "It was the end of January, we had already asked the club to be sold to play more and we had some options with Nottingham, with Lyon and with Marseille. And we were also talking to people from Everton. On the Sunday before the transfer window closed I went to London to explore all these options and in the middle Juventus called me.

"So I went from Southampton and we established the exit conditions. On Monday evening I called Juventus on the phone who promised me they would present an offer the following day. It was like this: at 8.30, I received an official offer from Juventus on my mobile and within a day we made the 'operation'.

"It is an expensive loan plus a penalty that is activated if the player plays less than 30% of the total minutes. It decreases to the point that the penalty is zero if he plays over 60%."

Asked if Alcaraz will stay with Juve, Lopez added: "I don't know what will happen."
