The NFL draft is in three weeks and the teams are gearing up to get the best of the college football talents. This year, a lot of ex-college football stars will make their foray into the professional league and among them, Caleb Williams Drake Maye, and last season’s Heisman winner Jayden Daniels are favorites to get the top three draft picks.

Among the teams, the Denver Broncos are in a critical situation regarding their quarterback position. After two years of having Russell Wilson, the Broncos traded him as he failed to provide success for the team. He had a highly covered tussle with the head coach Sean Payton and it largely carried a bad message. The team is presently looking for a long-term quarterback.

This crisis might take the Broncos close to the former college-level QB, Bo Nix. After having a fabulous last season in college, the 24-year-old quarterback is linked to the team for the next season.

Recently, in a conversation with the former NFL QB Robert Griffin III on the RG3 and The Ones, Nix spoke about his prospective future. He shared some insights about the possibility of him being drafted by the Broncos.

That would be a blast--Playing for a coach like that (Sean Payton) who has been so important for the offensive game. He's known a lot for what he and Drew Brees did together. It was quick game, get the ball out, timing stuff that I love to do. That's what we did great here at Oregon. Bo Nix said

Sean Payton makes a priority of the passing ability of any quarterback he works with. Hence, there might be some chances that Nix’s admiration for Payton might not just be one-sided.

Bo Nix is fetching multiple team interests ahead of the draft

As things stand right now, the Denver Broncos is certainly not the only team to show interest in Bo Nix. The quarterback recently met the Seattle Seahawks management. After a downer last season, the Seahawks are also looking for a quarterback. They have already drafted Sam Howell as a backup to regular starter Geno Smith.

Despite having multiple quarterbacks, they are looking for a future option and Nix can perfectly become that. If he gets drafted, then the Oregon product will have the opportunity to play under the guidance of Ryan Grubb . Grubb is presently the offensive coordinator of the team. However, both had faced each other as opponents.

In his last season for Oregon Ducks, Nix scored 45 touchdowns against three interceptions in 14 games, making his case for Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year (2023). This gigantic performance can compel both teams to go for him.
