Carter 2 Motorsports has signed former NASCAR Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series standout Bobby Hamilton Jr. to drive the No. 97 Nitroforce Industries - Titan 1000 Dodge for the entire 2015 ARCA Racing Series season.

“We are so excited to have him for the entire 2015 season,” team owner Roger Carter said of Hamilton Jr. “I have worked together with him in the 1990s, and he is so much fun to work with. We also believe he will be a great mentor to our younger drivers this season. He is a total asset to our team and the direction we are headed this season.”   Hamilton Jr. was slated to drive a full season for Carter 2 Motorsports before negotiations fell apart early in the 2014 ARCA Racing Series season. Hamilton is no stranger to the ARCA Racing Series, making 8 career starts during the 1998 and 1999 seasons. He does hold one career pole, which came at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in 1998, in addition to accumulating 4 Top-5 finishes in five starts during the season.   Outside of ARCA competition, Hamilton Jr. is better known for his career in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, winning five times in 253 career starts. He also accumulated 30 Top-5’s, 63 Top-10’s, and four pole awards.   In addition to his stellar NASCAR Xfinity Series career, he has also made numerous starts in NASCAR’s other top tier series.   As previously announced, Hamilton will be backed by Nitroforce Industries and their headlining product, the Titan 1000, in addition to J and M Supply, and several other associate sponsors throughout 2015.   Hamilton Jr. is still looking for other associate sponsors for the 2015 season.
