Over the weekend, Duquesne hosted yet another transfer prospect on a visit.

The Dukes’ staff, led by first-year head coach Dru Joyce III, hosted Canisius transfer Tre Dinkins for the visit. Dinkins told Pittsburgh Sports Now that Duquesne is the school that is recruiting him the hardest even before his visit, and Dinkins seems to still be very interested in the Dukes after the trip.

“I enjoyed my time there,” he told PSN. “They showed love [with] the support system from the staff, [had] great facilities/campus, nice city and it was good vibes. Also, felt like a family atmosphere.”

Dinkins says he will “probably not” take any more visits, and that he may commit to a school as soon as this upcoming week.

Dinkins is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound guard out of Chester, Pennsylvania. He spent the last two seasons at Duquesne, dramatically improving his numbers in a bigger role this past season. Dinkins played more than 35 minutes per game on average, and scored 15.4 points per contest. He shot 41% from the field and 37% from three-point range this year, and hit 85 of his 233 three-point attempts on more than seven three pointers attempted per game.

Dinkins initially heard from a long list of programs after he entered the transfer portal officially on March 18. The following programs, and more, reached out to Dinkins upon entry: Miami, Seton Hall, Oklahoma, Indiana, Xavier, and many others.
