Fresh off the injured reserve list, Budda Baker is expected to start this week for the Arizona Cardinals, per NFL insider Tom Pelissero.
Baker suffered a hamstring injury during practice following the Cardinals first game of the season.
He was then lifted from the IR earlier this week.
Last season, Baker was the Cardinals lone Pro Bowl selection as he tallied up 75 solo tackles, seven pass deflections, and two interceptions.
It was Budda’s fifth appearance in the Pro Bowl out of six seasons in the NFL.
Without Baker in their secondary, the Cardinals have done a horrible job defensively at stopping the big plays. So far this season, the Cards have 376 yards per game, which is the 5th worst in the NFL.
On Sunday, they will be going up against the Seahawks, who went 2-0 against Arizona in 2022.
