The Arizona Cardinals are set to have 11 picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, and they'll get a firsthand look at this year's top prospects in two weeks.

Cardinals wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator Drew Terrell has been named the offensive coordinator for the East side of the East-West Shrine Bowl

Terrell was hired by the Cardinals less than a year ago following three years of coaching receivers for the Washington Commanders. His NFC East experience helped him catch the eye of new head coach Johnathan Gannon.

At just 32 years of age, Terrell is very young in the scope of NFL coaches, but the players he'll interact with at the Shrine Bowl are much younger. NFL hopefuls flock to the annual collegiate All-Star game every year, with the majority of them looking to be selected in the later portion of the NFL Draft.

These are the players that require the most attention for scouts and coaches. The top prospects are well known and have been scouted for months prior to the offseason. The Shrine Bowl is where unheralded prospects can get their names out and improve their draft stocks.

Coaching these players firsthand is a big advantage for Terrell and the Cardinals, who own eight picks following the second round of April's draft. The Cards will be drafting high in each again once again, so it's crucial they maximize each and every one.
